The Arts Council of Brownwood provides grants to local 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations for projects that help to further our purpose of "promoting the arts, facilitating fine arts activities, encouraging coordination between organizations, fostering the arts, and creating cultural tourism in the City of Brownwood."
Grant Applications will be considered at the Arts Council meeting in August. Depending on the availability of funds, grants will be awarded in September. Organizations receiving grants must submit a Grant Evaluation Report by August 31st of the following year, documenting how the funds were used.
Grant Applications must be submitted by August 1st.
A recent 1-page Financial Statement must also be submitted with your application.
